What did this building used to be?

Built by industrialist Thomas Jefferson Hill in 1867 for the manufacture of malleable iron castings, the RI Malleable Iron Works Factory provided the nucleus for the village that was to grow around it.

What is the largest party size for reservations in the dining room?

We can accommodate up to 14. Larger parties will need to be booked through our Private Dining manager.

What holidays are you closed?

We are closed 4th of July and Christmas.

Do you have space for private parties?

Yes, we can accommodate parties of 10-150 guests. Perfect for weddings, cocktail receptions, group luncheons, bridal showers, business dinners and corporate events. The original offices of the RI Malleable Iron Works have been preserved into two beautiful private dining rooms and one main spacious Great Room for larger parties. Do you own the hotel too?

We do not.

If I am staying at the hotel, can I order room service from Iron Works?

Yes, there is a menu available in each room. Alcoholic beverages are not available.
